On Monday, the Grover Beach Police Department in California released dramatic body camera footage of a man being rescued from inside a burning trailer.

The cause of the fire was determined to be from a portable propane heater.

Grover Beach officers were able to prevent the fire from spreading. The man was transported to hospital and only suffered only minor injuries, according to police.

Due to the temperatures dipping to 8C (47F) on Friday evening, fire officials issued a warning urging caution for people using portable heaters in small or cluttered spaces.
