Residents return to burned homes as LA fires rage on

Residents in Los Angeles are returning to their homes to assess the damage and destruction left behind by fires burning simultaneously in the region.

Firefighters have been unable to contain some of the fires, as relentless winds continue.

The Pacific Palisades fire, now known as the city’s most destructive, has destroyed more than 1,000 buildings.
